We're already deep into September, and the SXSW 2011 season is well underway. That also means that in a little over 2 weeks, our first registration deadline is up! Until September 24, you can still pick up a Film Badge for a savings of around 40% on the walk-up rate. A substantial savings, but it's only available for a couple more weeks!

When Yorgis Lanthimos' Dogtooth stormed the festival circuit earlier this year, "Film of the Year" declarations seemed to ring out from every corner of the blogosphere. Well-earned stripes for sure - this bizarre and utterly disturbing film throws in its lot with Happiness, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Michael Haneke in the fucked-up family portrait stakes.
