Announcing Accelerator's Day One Emcees: Dean McCall and Tim Street!

McCall-Dean.jpgOn March 15 at the Hilton Austin Downtown, 32 companies will do their best to dazzle a live audience and panel of judges with ideas, innovations, and products that provide a glimpse into the future of technology. By March 16, after an intense and inspiring free-for-all, only 12 will stand a chance at capturing the attention of the industry and all that comes with it. And only four will emerge as Microsoft BizSpark Accelerator at SXSW Interactive 2010 champions.

200px-TimStreet2009.JPGKnock'em-down-drag'em-out battles like this need referees, right? Commentators to call the action? Emcees who can entertain? Well, we're happy to announce that we have four -- for our announcement of Day Two emcees Chris Sacca and Brad King, click here -- and today we're ready to tell you about two more of them ...

Dean McCall and Tim Street will host Day One of Accelerator at SXSW, and we couldn't be more excited.

McCall is the CEO and founder of Ideagin, LLC, a serial entrepreneur and a catalyst in the Texas technology community. McCall is an Entrepreneur in Residence at UTSA’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and sits on the boards of various technology organizations. He is also the President of the Idea Finishing School, a Texas startup accelerator, and a Venture Advisor to DFJ Mercury.

Street is a web video pioneer, writer, producer, director, and new media consultant. He co-hosts This Week in Media and is the creator/executive producer the popular video series French Maid TV.

Stay tuned to this site for our announcement of Accelerator at SXSW's finalists!
